• DESCRIPTION:Vetprofen contains Carprofen, which treats pain and inflammation in dogs with osteoarthritis. It also controls postoperative inflammation and pain in dogs recovering from soft tissue or orthopedic surgical procedures.

    How is Medication Given? Read product information pamphlet prior to use. Recommended daily oral dose is 2 mg per pound of body weight administered daily. Your veterinarian may recommend one daily dose, or a divided dose of 1 mg per pound administered twice each day. To control pain after an operation, administer about 2 hours prior to procedure. Each caplet is scored. Calculate dosage in increments of half-caplets.
